Business Simulations

DOOR Training and Consulting has recently launched Board game based Business Simulations training for four domains in India – Manufacturing, Distribution (Sales), Professional Services (IT, ITES, BPO/KPO, BFSI ) & Telecom.

Established in 1981, Business Today has successfully developed Strategic Thinking, Business Acumen and Financial Understanding within numerous organizations. Our unique methodology, which incorporates customized board-based simulations, provides a holistic view of the fundamental business drivers within your organization that have an impact on the overall financial performance of your business. This engaging and interactive methodology surpasses traditional learning techniques, enabling delegates to experience, in a nonthreatening environment, the role that their function contributes to the organization as a whole, and the importance of interdepartmental relationships.

Who can benefit from simulation training?

Everyone from top management to shop floor employees can discover how they personally can influence the performance of the business through their everyday activities and decisions they make. This understanding enables all levels of management and employees to transcend traditional notions about functional barriers and ultimately leads to improved decision making and problem solving, and therefore improved company performance.

What is the effectiveness of simulation training in the classroom?

Our training involves teams of delegates who “manage their own business” through following a credible business process, on the simulation board. They would make a variety of decisions over a number of business cycles. This experiential process is challenging, highly competitive and lots of fun, and allows delegates to gain a deep base of business awareness and understanding. Lessons learned are constantly compared to their actual workplaces, and many of the simulations formally include client company language, issues and financial statement structures.

Through becoming aware of the bigger picture of their business, and their own role toward its success or failure, staff and managers begin to function more effectively toward common goals like

Change Management
Business Improvement
Financial Understanding
Functional Understanding
Strategic Thinking
