Indiana-based Lilly Pharmaceuticals, tenth largest pharmaceutical company in the world, addressed the public perception that they were not supporting minority owned business in their home state.
For years, company officials would say: “We try to get minority business, we’ve sent out proposals, we’ve waited here with the paperwork and have been willing and would be pleased to work with anyone who came in and took the job.”
